"Resolution on the modalities of the 31st special session of the UN General Assembly in response to COVID-19, initiated by the President of Azerbaijan H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev in his capacity as the Chairman of the Non-Aligned Movement is adopted by the GA," the UN General Assembly Office in Azerbaijan noted on the official Twitter page, APA reports.
UN General Assembly President Volkan Bozkir said on Twitter that the decision on the details of the Special Session on COVID-19 was made at the General Assembly today with the strong support of member states: "The Special Session of COVID-19 at the level of heads of state and government will be held on December 3-4, 2020 in my presidency."
