Azerbaijani puts forward his candidacy for post of London mayor

London is holding mayoral elections today, APA’s bureau in Britain reports.

Kamran Balayev is standing as the candidate for the Renew Party a centrist party formed in 2017.

K. Balayev's main rivals include current mayor Sadiq Khan of the Labor Party and Shaun Bailey of the Conservative Party.

Note that Kamran Balayev is a graduate of Cambridge University and the London School of Economics and Political Science. At the same time, he is a founder of the Lawyers Without Borders organization dealing with protecting human rights issues within the framework of the UN declarations.

Remind that despite mayoral elections had to be held in London last year, The Elections had been postponed due to the coronavirus. At present, voters can use their right to vote by mail and by going to the polls.
