Secretary of State Commission: “Most of Azerbaijanis who captured and taken hostage by Armenia, killed in mass in many cases”

“Armenian armed forces committed genocide and other tragic acts while occupying Azerbaijan's territories,” said Secretary of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons Ismayil Akhundov, APA reports.

According to him, most of Azerbaijanis who captured and taken hostage by Armenia, were killed in mass in many cases: “Armenia noted that 8 Azerbaijani hostages, who allegedly attempted to flee, were killed on February 16, 1994. But investigations, conducted on the bodies, proved that hostages were killed as a result of a gunshot on the temporal bone from the same weapon. Such kinds of facts show Armenia’s behavior with Azerbaijani hostages. Armenia hides the fact of maintaining missing persons in the First Karabakh War from international organizations, refuses to provide information on their fate.”
