Shusha Declaration will take Azerbaijan-Turkey relations to the higher level, FM Bayramov says

"Relations between the two brotherly countries, Azerbaijan and Turkey, are at the highest level,” said Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov in an interview with TRT World, APA reports.

The minister noted that large cooperation exists in all fields between two countries.

According to him, the Shusha Declaration inked between Azerbaijan and Turkey on allied relations will take the relations between two countries to a higher level and will open opportunities for further expansion and deepening of relations in the various fields.

Mr. Bayramov noted that in accordance with the Shusha Declaration, in the case of any threat to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of one of the parties, the parties will support each other in accordance with the UN Charter.
