“It is important that Yerevan should adequately respond to the hand of peace extended to Armenia by the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, an offer made to achieve peace and stability,” said Turkish National Defence Minister Hulusi Akar in his speech on a High-level observer day held at "TurAz Falcon - 2021" joint flight-tactical exercises, APA reports.
“However, unfortunately, there is no completely positive answer to this issue, but there are some signs. Our goal for the parties is to live in peace and security. Our desire is Armenia to observe the ceasefire, does not make any mistakes, and at the same time we consider it important to ensure a lasting ceasefire and stability in the region,” the Turkish defence minister noted.
