Azerbaijan prevented 2,678 cyber attacks during Patriotic War

Activation of DDoS attacks was recorded at the first days of the 44-day Patriotic War and in general, these attacks continued as active during the whole war, said Chief Information Security Officer at Special Communication and Information Security State Sevice Tural Mammadov at the Cybersecurity Day Conference in Baku, APA-Economics reports.

According to him, phishing attacks in this direction have also attracted special attention.

"Disinformation attacks demonstrated themselves from different directions almost from beginning to the end of the war uninterruptedly. Both citizens and state bodies were targeted. 2,678 cyber-attacks on state information resources were prevented during 44 days," T. Mammadov noted.
