Temporary rules for organizing the educational process during the period of special quarantine approved in Azerbaijan

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the "Temporary rules for the organization of the educational process in educational institutions operating in the Republic of Azerbaijan during the period of a special quarantine regime," APA reports.

These rules were developed on the basis of the recommendations of the World Health Organization on measures to protect health in educational institutions in connection with the spread of COVID-19 and the experience of preventive and epidemiological measures against COVID-19 infection in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The main purpose of these Rules is to determine the requirements for the organization of the educational process in the full-time form in educational institutions during the period of a special quarantine regime and to ensure compliance with sanitary and hygienic rules to protect the health of its participants. These rules apply to all educational institutions (except for higher and secondary specialized educational institutions for special purposes), regardless of the form of ownership and subordination, operating in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The term for the start of the educational process in educational institutions in full-time form during the period of a special quarantine regime is regulated by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated August 29, 2020 No. 312 "On the organization of the educational and educational process in educational institutions operating in the Republic of Azerbaijan during a special quarantine regime ". In educational institutions, the organization of the educational process in a distance form must be ensured until the restoration of education in full-time form.

When organizing the educational and educational process in full-time form, educational institutions must comply with the sanitary norms and rules adopted in accordance with the requirements of the Law "On Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare", hygienic standards, and the requirements of these Rules.

Educational institutions should take into account that the full-time participation of students in the educational process is provided on the basis of the principle of voluntariness.

The organization of full-time education in educational institutions should be planned to take into account the requirements of a special quarantine regime by the type (type) of institutions, the number of students, the number of students in groups, the number of students in day groups, the capacity of class (group) sets, classrooms, laboratories, educational production workshops, libraries, hostels, canteens, the age division of students and other issues.
