"More than 100 cases of coronavirus vaccine are underway. Trials of eight vaccines started on humans," said Dr. Hande Harmanci, Representative of the World Health Organization in Azerbaijan, at a press conference on the preliminary results of the REACT-C19 project, APA reports.
“We hope that one or two of them will be available by the end of this year. The quarantine regime is being relaxed in Azerbaijan, but it does not mean that there is no virus. Everyone should follow hand hygiene, respiratory hygiene and physical distance to protect themselves before vaccination," she said.
