Mobile phones imports to Azerbaijan sharply increased

184,919 telephone sets for mobile and other wireless communication networks have imported in Azerbaijan in March of the current year, State Statistics Committee told APA Economics.

According to the State Statistics Committee in comparison to February, the increase of imports has been 23,1% in March.

The cost of imported products was $ 27 649,4 thousand in March, which is 15% more than in comparison to the indicator in February.

“In January-March of the current year, 483 621 mobile devices have been imported to the country. The increase in imports has been 72,6% in comparison to the same period of the last year. The cost of imported goods has amounted to $ 75 144,6 which exceeds the indicator for the first quarter of 2020 by 98,5%", the committee said.
