The strong wind blowing this morning on the territory of the country, and in particular on the Absheron Peninsula, has caused a number of undesirable consequences, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) told APA.
Based on the information received by the hot line "112" of the Ministry of Emergency Situations about the threat to life and health of the population due to wind in different parts of Baku, emergency rescue units the ministries took the necessary measures. Based on the calls received, rescuers of the Emergency Situations Service Rescue Service removed pieces of iron structures hanging from the roofs of five-story buildings on Alaskar Alekberov Street in Yasamal District and Hasanoglu Street in Narimanov District of the capital, and also eliminated the dangerous situation at the facility on 3rd Promyslovaya Street in Binagadinsky area.
Addressing the population, the Ministry of Emergency Situations once again recommends not to go outside unnecessarily in strong winds.
