It is unacceptable to organize festive events on the occasion of the Day of Solidarity and the New Year, Azerbaijan MIA says

Public catering facilities, as well as restaurants, cafes, and tea houses can act on the basis of only delivery service or online sale during special quarantine regime, applied in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told APA.

Announcements regarding organization and holding ceremonies regarding 31 December – International Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis and New Year holiday in public catering facilities, as well as restaurants and amusement centers are issued in recent days.

“We bring to attention that organization and holding mass ceremonies, concert programs are unacceptable in order to prevent spread of coronavirus infection much more. We call on our citizens not to believe any announcement and invitation regarding participation in such mass events, to follow requirements of special quarantine regime.”
