Kamran Aliyev: "Involvement of Asala members into battles by Armenia was determined"

On October 21, General Prosecutor Kamran Aliyev met with president of Ombudsmans’ Association of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and Chief Ombudsman of the Republic of Turkey Şeref Malkoç being on visit in our country based on invitation of Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva, the General Prosecutor’s Office told APA.

General prosecutor Kamran Aliyev sincerely welcoming the guest saying the relations of our peoples historically based on the national roots is also dynamically developed in political, economic, cultural and other areas, specially stressed that these relations are expressed by aphorism of the great personality of the Turkish people Mustafa Kemal Atatürk saying “Azerbaijan’s sorrow is our sorrow, its joy is our joy” and aphorism of the National leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev saying "one nation, two states”, the Azerbaijan-Turkey relations rose to the level of strategic cooperation as a result of the serious efforts of and the far-sighted foreign policy conducted by presidents of both states Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and are based on principles of friendship and brotherhood.
The General Prosecutor providing information about criminal actions committed by the Armenian armed forces against Azerbaijan’s civilian population beginning from September 27 said the leadership and people of the Republic of Turkey once again showed to the whole world that we are one nation, two states by demonstrating their spiritual support to our country beginning from the first moment of the events.

It was noted that by the instruction of leadership of The Republic of Armenia, on October 4, 11, and 17, Ganja City being Azerbaijan’s second-largest city densely populated by civilians, was shelled by SCUD rocket system which is banned at international level and as a resuly in total 63 civilians killed, 18 of them are women, 8 children, 292 people injured, among them 69 were women, 32 children, 1981 residential houses, 90 apartment buildings and 386 civilian infrastructure were severely damaged.

It has been brought to attention that the involvement of mercenaries of foreign countries in combat operations conducted in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, by Armenia, as well as the participation of the members of Asala terror organization have been determined.
