The State Security Service (SSS) of the Republic of Azerbaijan continues complex measures to combat the involvement of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan under the influence of radical religious ideas in terrorist organizations and armed conflicts carried out by these organizations outside the country, APA reports citing the SSS.
According to SSS, as a result of operational-search measures of criminal prosecution carried out under Articles 218.2 (participation in the criminal community) and 279.1 (participation in unauthorized armed groups or groups) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, it was established that Bahram Tagibey oglu, a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan, 1971 born under the religious nickname "Abu Ibrahim Dagystani" in international terrorist organizations as an expert in explosive oystvam, illegally entered the territory of Afghanistan and joined the illegal armed groups operating there.
As part of international search activities in the criminal case against Bahram Gulaliyev, he was detained in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and extradited to the Republic of Azerbaijan in October 2019.
It was revealed that Bahram Gulaliyev provided international terrorist organizations with explosive devices, which he manufactured using chemicals, conducted training in the manufacture of explosive devices in foreign illegal armed groups, and also attracted citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan to these armed conflicts.
As a result of further investigations, Telman Cherkez oglu, a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was born and was born in 1988, who participated in terrorist exercises and armed conflicts on the border territories of Afghanistan and Pakistan, and then moved to Syria along with other members of the group of which he was there, who participated there in battles on the basis of religious hatred, as well as a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan Gasimov Elchin Tofig oglu, born in 1986, who is simultaneously Together with him, as part of terrorist groups, he participated in armed conflicts in the city of Atma and other settlements of Syria.

The State Security Service once again warns that persons who bring citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan to illegal armed groups in any form will be identified and held accountable, calls on citizens who fall under radical religious ideological influence to not join such illegal armed groups .
