United States President Donald Trump revealed on Saturday that a decision regarding a partial reinstatement of the funding for the World Health Organization (WHO) has not been made yet, APA reports citing Tele Trader.
Responding to a Twitter post by Fox Business Network anchor Lou Dobbs on the subject, Trump wrote that "this is just one of numerous concepts being considered under which we would pay 10% of what we have been paying over many years, matching much lower China payments," while stressing that, currently, "all funds [intended for the WHO] are frozen."
It was reported yesterday that the president's administration will look to restore a small fraction of WHO funding "to pay up to what China pays in assessed contributions."
