United States President Joe Biden said on Friday he spoke to Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson and Finnish President Sauli Niinisto earlier in the day and discussed the possibility of their countries joining NATO, APA reports citing Tele Trader.
"I spoke today with PM Andersson of Sweden and President Niinistö of Finland to discuss our close defense cooperation and strengthening Transatlantic security. I expressed full support for NATO’s Open Door policy and each country’s right to choose its security arrangements," Biden stated in a tweet.
