Twitter's board of directors is expected to fulfill the request for access to internal data made by billionaire Elon Musk as part of his offer to purchase the company in a $44 billion deal, APA reports citing Teletrader.
According to a report published on Wednesday by the Washington Post, people familiar with the matter said that Twitter would provide Musk with massive data about the number of fake accounts on the platform as soon as this week.
The data is essential for Musk's team to be able to measure the amount of bot activity on Twitter and its influence on the platform's ad revenue. The report comes after Musk earlier said he would back from the agreement unless Twitter gave him the requested information.
