Iranian President: "It is prohibited for other nations to participate in drills in the Caspian Sea”

In the Caspian Sea (Caspian littoral states - Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkmenistan), the participation of servicemen of other countries in training is prohibited, said Ibrahim Raisi, Iranian President at a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, APA’s Tehran bureau reports.

The Iranian president noted that the most effective way to combat U.S economic pressure and sanctions on independent countries is to strengthen cooperation and coordination between Iran and Russia.

He noted that the main factor in starting the war between Russia and Ukraine is the escalation of the situation by the United States and NATO.

Raisi said that Iran stressed the ban on the participation of other countries in military exercises in the Caspian Sea, especially on the Iranian coast.
