Tehran’s strategy on developing its nuclear program does not include the development of nuclear weapons, Head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization Mohammad Eslami said on Monday, APA reports citing TASS.
"There is no place for nuclear weapons in the Iranian strategy. What we hear are exclusively groundless accusations," the Young Journalists Club news agency quoted him as saying. According to the official, "regardless of the fate of the nuclear deal, Tehran will continue to develop its peaceful nuclear program."
