During January-October of this year, Azerbaijan exported 1,310,631 tons of natural gas to Georgia, Georgia’s National Statistics Department told APA.
The total value of the imported natural gas amounted to US$ 217,076.2 thousand.
The total value of the natural gas imported by Georgia in the reporting period amounted to US$ 242,899.9. Thus, Azerbaijan satisfied 89.4% of this country’s natural gas requirement during January-October of this year.
Note that as compared with the previous year, Georgia’s natural gas imports have increased by 9.8% and accounted for 3.3% of total imports.
