In March 2017, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) produced 624,800 tonnes of oil, down 3.31% from 2016, up 8.43% from February 2017, read a statement from SOCAR.
SOCAR produced 1,846,100 tonnes of oil in January-March, down 2.74% in comparison to a year earlier.
Oil production amounted to 645,100 tonnes in January, 576,200 tonnes in February.
Oil production across the country made 3,113,000 tonnes, down 14.70% by contrast to 2016, up 4.61% from February.
In January-March, totally 9,456,200 tonnes of oil were produced across the country, down 10% compared to previous year.
