Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan should resign till April 20 for taking place of June 20 parliamentary elections in Armenia, said Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the Bright Armenia faction at parliament, APA reports citing TASS.
“According to the constitution, Pashinyan should resign by April 20 for the elections to take place on June 20. It should be taken into account that Parliament should not elect a new Prime Minister within two weeks after the resignation of the Prime Minister. After that, there will be 45 days for the election campaign. It turns out that the Prime Minister should resign before April 20,” Edmon Marukyan said.
Recalling that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that a snap parliamentary election will be held in the country on June 20.
