Lukashenka called Putin his elder brother

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko called Russian leader Vladimir Putin his elder brother, said that the Russian president has no “more friendly” relations with any world leader than with him, APA reports citing the Associated Press.

Lukashenka said in an interview with the agency that his “elder brother” has “closer, more open and friendly relations with no other world leader than with the President of Belarus.”

On Tuesday, the Kremlin’s press service reported that Putin and Lukashenko in a telephone conversation confirmed their mutual intention to further strengthen Russian-Belarusian relations of partnership and alliance.
