President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov today has arrived in Tashkent on a state visit at the invitation of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, APA reports citing AKI Press.
Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, acting Foreign Minister Vladimir Norov, Tashkent mayor Jahongir Artikhojaev met the President of Turkmenistan upon arrival at Tashkent International Airport.
After the meeting, the motorcade with the Turkmen delegation headed to New Uzbekistan Park, where the President of Turkmenistan laid wreath at the Monument of Independence.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov was familiarized with the concept of architectural solutions and features of sculptural composition of the complex.
The visit of this complex is a traditional point on the itinerary of all high-ranking delegations visiting Uzbekistan.
