CEC chairman: “If somebody commits disagreeable actions at the local level, a measure against him will be taken according to legislation”

“All data shared in social networks will be investigated”, said Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission, APA reports.

The CEC chairman also commented on the data disseminated in social networks regarding the occurrences taking place in Zangilan-Gubadly constituency #125.

He noted that more strict and serious measures will be taken as compared with the previous cases: “So much effort has been made in regard to awareness-raising and instructing that I wish these incidents wouldn’t happen. If somebody commits disagreeable actions at the local level, a measure against him will be taken according to legislation. Ten thousands people have been involved in arrangement of the election process. It seems that a certain percentage of these people are irresponsible persons, they should be replaced and they shouldn’t participate in this process. A strict measure will be taken against them”.
