The Government of Malta has published a list of persons who have received the so-called "golden passports", APA reports citing tellerreport.com.

This list includes, among other persons, the names of famous Russians.

According to the published list, the owners of Malta’s “golden passports” were the shareholder of AFK Sistema investment company Alexander Gorbatovsky, the main owner of the Chocolate network Alexander Kolobov, the founder and chairman of the board of directors of the Guta group of companies, Yuri Gushchin, as well as several other representatives of Russian business.

In November, it became known that Cyprus was going to deprive of the citizenship the nine Russians who received "golden passports" for investing in the country's economy.
