American biotechnology company Moderna announced on Tuesday that Switzerland increased its confirmed order commitment by three million doses of its coronavirus vaccine, bringing the country’s confirmed commitment to 7.5 million doses in total, APA reports citing Teletrader.
Last week, a study of Moderna Inc.'s coronavirus vaccine published in the New England Journal of Medicine revealed the candidate has the potential to provide durable immunity to the virus.
Switzerland began a review of Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine candidate so it can give it fast approval should it pass muster in clinical trials.
