Ukraine reports 4,310 new coronavirus cases

As of February 6, Ukraine has reported 1,241,479 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 4,310 new cases recorded over the past 24 hours, APA reports citing Ukinform.

"Some 4,310 new cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) have been recorded in Ukraine as of February 6, 2021. In particular, 220 children and 191 health workers contracted COVID-19," Health Minister Maksym Stepanov posted on his Facebook page.

According to him, 129 deaths, 7,158 recoveries and 1,884 hospitalizations were registered in Ukraine in the last day.

In addition, 41,410 coronavirus tests, including 25,590 PCR (polymerase chain reaction) tests and 15,820 ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) tests, were performed in Ukraine in the past 24 hours.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 23,516 deaths and 1,070,749 recoveries have been recorded, and 6,376,032 PCR tests have been performed.

The highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours was registered in Ivano-Frankivsk region (498), Dnipropetrovsk region (306), Kyiv region (295), Lviv region (286), and Chernivtsi region (258).
