"Just a month and a half after the attempted coup in Turkey on July 15, 2016, we started the Euphrates Shield operation (in Syria - red.). We have become more active than ever before in a wide geography, from Africa to the Caucasus, from the Black Sea to the Mediterranean Sea,” said Mevlut Cavuşoğlu, Turkish Foreign Minister, during his speech dedicated to the "July 15 - Democracy and National Unity Day" holiday in Alanya, APA’s Istanbul correspondent reports.
He noted that peace and stability cannot be talked about in these regions without the participation of Turkiye: "You can see this in the latest Ukrainian crisis. Turkey is the most important actor for stopping the war and eliminating the food crisis."
