"The Northern Corridor is no longer an alternative in terms of logistics," said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlud Çavuşoğlu, APA reports.
The head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry said that the East-West corridor passing through Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Türkiye has become vitally important in this regard: "We also assess them. In recent weeks, we held a meeting of foreign ministers and ministers of transport and logistics of Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, in Uzbekistan. We discussed ways to strengthen this corridor. Before that, Baku hosted a meeting of the ministers of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Kazakhstan. We are looking for ways to facilitate trade and transportation. In the coming period, we will also involve the energy ministers in the process."
