European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell stated on Monday, before the meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels, that he cannot guarantee that the current stalemate in regards to sanctions on Russian oil will be solved "immediately," APA reports citing Tele Trader.
Borrell asserted that due to "strong positions from some member states" the issue is still being discussed. He said that although "some [countries] have more difficulties than others because they are more dependent" he hopes that the bloc will be able to "unblock the situation."
