Two-day NATO Summit will start in Madrid - the capital of Spain today, APA reports citing the NATO website.
It has been noted that heads of state and governments of member states, as well as main partner countries, will attend the Summit.
According to the website, within the framework of the Summit, alliance's approach to different challenges such as Russia's war in Ukraine, how new security reality in Europe affected NATO’s approach to deterrence and defence, China’s growing influence, assertiveness or the security consequences of climate change will be discussed.
At the Madrid Summit, NATO will adopt its new Strategic Concept. This key document reaffirms NATO's values, purpose, and tasks.
The Madrid Summit will end on June 30.
