Ukraine returned 106 servicemen from Russian captivity, APA reports citing the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War (POWs) of Ukraine.

98 soldiers and 8 officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine returned from captivity,

It is separately emphasized that they fought for Bakhmut.

The Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of POWs said that 68 of those released from captivity were considered missing.

"Seven rescued servicemen have various injuries: bullet and shrapnel wounds, burns and fractures, aggravated chronic diseases. The oldest of the servicemen is 59, the youngest is 21 years old.

As a result of the exchange, three bodies - two foreigners and one Ukrainian woman - were returned.

In total, 2,430 Ukrainians have already returned home as a result of the exchange of prisoners. There are 139 civilians among them.
