Azerbaijan has a crucial role in ensuring Iran's exports and needs, Murtaza Bank, Adviser to the President and the chairman of the Supreme Council of Iran's Free Trade, Industrial and Special Economic told APA’s Tehran bureau.
According to him, Iran and Azerbaijan have a common culture and history. “There is a strong relationship in the cultural and public fields between both countries. Iran has supported Azerbaijan’s independence after the collapse of the former Soviet Union. Azerbaijan has developed despite having different problems and today Azerbaijan has created broad economic and political relationships with Iran and other countries. Azerbaijan is developing every day."
