Price of Japan cars may increase by 5-10 % in Azerbaijan

The price of Japan cars that are imported to Azerbaijan may increase by nearly 5-10 % by the end of the first half of the current year, Toyota Baku Center PR Manager Eldaniz Jafarov told APA-Economics.

According to him, starting from the end of the precious year reconstruction works have being conducted in factories of many Japanese car manufacturers: “Factories are transferred from one place to another, as they are situated seismic zones. It covers factories which both gather auto parts and produce auto part. As well as sorting process is underway in factories. That is why there may appear a shortage of especially Japan cars in the auto market.”
