Wheat import to be exempted from VAT for one more year in Azerbaijan

Wheat import has been exempted from value-added tax for one more year in Azerbaijan, APA reports citing suggested amendment to the Tax Code.

According to the current Tax Code, import and sale of wheat, production of wheat flour and bread is exempt from tax for four years from January 1, 2017.

According to the draft, import and sale of wheat, production of wheat flour and bread will be exempted from VAT for five years from January 1, 2017.
