In January-February 2018, AZN 1,824,700,000 million was invested in Azerbaijan’s fixed capital from all financial sources, of which AZN 816,200,000 or 44.7% was invested in non-oil sector, up 29.8% from previous year, said the State Statistical Committee.
State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that 79.3% of these funds were spent to construction of production facilities, 14.8% to construction of facilities on service areas, 5.9% to construction of residential houses with the total area of 242,100 m². Domestic investments amounted to 50.8% of total investments.
In the structure of investments in the fixed capital 68.1% made up investments of enterprises and organizations, 10.9% bank loans, 15.0% budget funds, 0.5% off-budget funds, 5.4% private funds, and 0.1% other funds.
