Asian Development Bank disclosed future directions of cooperation with Azerbaijan, the Bank told APA-Economics.
The bank’s medium-term program for Azerbaijan is mainly related to education, agriculture, management of state sector, transport and energy sectors.
ADB plans to intensify regional cooperation by strengthening transport links and assisting the government in energy reform by creating a core infrastructure for transmission and distribution and adopting innovative solutions. It is said that ADB's support will develop agriculture and ensure food security through the reconstruction of the regional irrigation network.
Besides, the development of technical vocational education, improvement of vocational schools, promotion of reforms in this area will be a priority to strengthen human capital in the country.
