The strengthening of the nominal effective exchange rate (NEER) of the manat by 6.1% in 8 months was one of the main factors limiting inflation in the current year, APA reports citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

In July and August, the depreciation of national currencies in some partners had an additional boosting effect on the nominal effective exchange rate.
