The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan has commented on the speech of Prime Minister of Armenia Nicol Pashinyan delivered at the meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization in Bishkek, Leyla Abdullayeva, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan told APA.

According to L. Abdullayeva, the ideas voiced by N. Pashinyan during the meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization held in Bishkek once again clearly demonstrates that he acts from the position of lie and militarist rhetoric: "In fact, the violator of negotiations aimed at solution of Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, is N. Pashinyan himself with such kind of rhetoric speeches. The expression of "Nagorno Garabagh is Armenia” sounded by Armenian Prime Minister in occupied Azerbaijani city Khankendi in August of the current year seriously damaged negotiation process. If N. Pashinyan has changed his opinion, he should obviously state it. If he has not changed his opinion yet, so it is great damage to the negotiation process, as well as the activity and mandate of OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs.

Committing different provocations along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, firing at civilians, as well as, killing Azerbaijani excavator driver on October 3 of this year, Armenian side wants to involve Collective Security Treaty Organization in conflict with such provocative means. There are close cooperation relations including military-political and military-technical cooperation among member counties of Collective Security Treaty Organization and Azerbaijan. We would like to note especially the cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan. Russia and Azerbaijan have cooperation in all fields as well as extensive cooperation in the military-technical area.

As it is known, on October 30, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Army General Sergei Shoigu and on November 26, Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and during the both of the meetings, issues of military cooperation between the two countries in 2020 were discussed. In case of need, Azerbaijan can buy new weapons from Russia. We would like to emphasize, this issue has no relation with Armenian PM.”

L. Abdullayeva stated that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, citing specific documents and evidence has delivered a speech at the meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State, on the heroism of fascism in Armenia and the erection of a monument to the fascist executioner and traitor Garegin Nzdheh: "Armenian President Pashinyan's ridiculous and nonsensical comments attempting to respond to this speech were destructed by President Ilham Aliyev's response. Now, these thoughts of the head of the Armenian government have become a laughingstock and an object of ridicule even in Armenia itself. The fact that Prime Minister Pashinan noted that Soviet Foreign Minister V. Molotov also met Hitler, as well as identifying Njde Garegin with A. Solzhenice, is an example of historical illiteracy and syndication. Armenian Prime Minister should realize that Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno Garabagh conflict has nothing to do with CSTO."
