“Iran is ready to restore water and electricity in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan,” told Energy Minister of Iran Reza Ardakanian journalists after the meeting of Deputy Prime minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev, APA’s Tehran bureau reports.
He noted that numerous Iranian companies are ready to cooperate in this direction.
He said that negotiations on extending the term of energy exchange between the two countries have been conducted: “Azerbaijan and Iran are among the countries in the world with a long history of joint the exploitation of border rivers. Currently, negotiations are being conducted on the exploitation of Khudafarin and Giz Galasi water junctions.”
