Asaf Hajiyev was elected Secretary-General of the BSEC Parliamentary Assembly at The 53rd meeting of the General Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) held in Baku today, APA reports.
The current Secretary General of the BSEC Parliamentary Assembly Asaf Hajiyev and diplomatic assistant to the Greek parliament speaker Spyros Theocharopoulos were nominated for the post of Secretary General.
In the secret ballot, A. Hajiyev was re-elected Secretary General of the BSEC Parliamentary Assembly. He will hold this position for 5 years.
