Ankara considers Armenia's desire to establish air communication with Turkey - FM

"In my last speech in the Turkish Grand National Assembly, I said that a special envoy on relations between Armenia and Turkey would be appointed, and this was done. In our meeting with Jeyhun Bayramov, we also discussed this issue," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said while answering journalists' questions after the emergency meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Islamabad on the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan, APA reports.
Mr. Cavusoglu reiterated that Turkey holds consultations and makes joint decisions with Azerbaijan on regional issues, especially the South Caucasus.
The Minister also noted that Armenia's desire to establish contacts with Turkey by air is being considered.
