Azerbaijan’s FM: “We have wide agenda of dialogue with NATO”

“There is cooperation in various fields between the US and Azerbaijan, our cooperation in some fields is closer,” said Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at the press conference on finals of 2021, APA reports.

According to the minister, there are some fields that our cooperation is not so deep there.

Touching upon the relations with the NATO, the minister stressed that Azerbaijan’s participation in NATO missions, especially in Afganistan is highly appreciated: “The US Secretary General Antony Blinken has addressed gratitude letter to Azerbaijan. Our cooperation with NATO has deep historical rrots. We have cooperation in missions within NATO, participation of our servicemen in NATO exercises, and exercises in combating emergencies. We have wide dialogue agenda with NATO. Our partnership is especially stressed by the leadership of NATO, and they express gratitude to Azerbaijan.”
