“The Ministry of Defense of Russia, the command of the peacekeeping contingent, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are in constant contact with all interested parties regarding the situation on Lachin road, said the official representative of Russian MFA Mariya Zakharova at the briefing today, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
“Energetic efforts in the direction of normalization of the situation are underway. Unlike most foreign players, who are limited to calls for de-escalation, the Russian side is looking for ways to actually untangle the knot on the ground, provides humanitarian assistance. We call on Baku and Yerevan to demonstrate political will for eliminating existing disagreements,” stressed Zakharova.
