Russia has promoted the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan, APA's Moscow correspondent reports that it was stated in the review issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry on the results of 2021.

"Russia vigorously promoted the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan, including the establishment of a bilateral commission on the delimitation and demarcation of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, as well as the opening of economic and transport ties in the South Caucasus," reads the review.

The publication notes that on December 10, Moscow hosted an opening meeting of the Consultative Regional Platform in the "3 + 3" format (three Transcaucasian states - Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, as well as three neighboring countries - Russia, Turkey, Iran) - so far without the participation of Georgia.
