Speaker of Parliament of Montenegro visits Great Leader’s tomb and Alley of Martyrs in Azerbaijan

A delegation led by speaker of the Montenegrin Parliament Daniela Durovic, visited the Alley of Honors to pay tribute to National Leader, architect and founder of the independent Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev, and to lay a wreath at his tomb, APA reports.

They also visited the Alley of Martyrs, commemorated the heroic children of the Motherland, who died in the struggle for the freedom and sovereignty of Azerbaijan, and put flowers at their graves. The delegation visited the "Eternal Torch" monument, laid wreath in front of it.

The guests enjoyed a panoramic view from the highest point of Baku and were informed about the history of the Alley of Martyrs and redevelopment of the city.
