Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu thanked Azerbaijan, APA reports.
The diplomat noted that Azerbaijan was the first country came to help.
"As always, dear Azerbaijan was the first country to help Türkiye. There were rescuers sent by President Ilham Aliyev. From the first hours of the earthquake, my brother Jeyhun Bayramov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan called us with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev. They started preparations from the first hours. At 12:00 Azerbaijan time, aid and rescuers had already left. We sincerely thank all of them," the minister said.
