"The old Zangilan city mosque is fundamentally renovated with the financial support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to preserve the cultural heritage in Zangilan and pass it on to future generations," said Vahid Hajiyev, the special representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Zangilan district at the consultation of the heads of diplomatic missions of the Republic of Azerbaijan held in Shusha, APA reports.
The special representative of the president noted that the construction of a new and larger mosque began considering the total population of the city.
