Minister for European Neighbourhood and the Americas at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office Wendy Morton has met with Minister of Ecology and Natural resources Mukhtar Babayev, MENR told APA.
Views on mitigation of climate change, proper management of waste, including plastic waste, combating desertification and other issues of mutual interest were exchanged at the meeting, prospects of future cooperation were discussed.
As well as Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of environment and climate change between two countries was signed.
