“Today Azerbaijan is one of the safest and most stable countries on a global scale,” Oruc Zalov, the deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, lieutenant-general said, APA reports.
He said that Azerbaijan is one of the least affected countries, both in the CIS and in European countries, for the number of crimes per 100,000 people: “As a result, dozens of international events are held at a high level in Azerbaijan. It is especially important that the internal affairs bodies fully and properly perform their duties to hold elections in a stable and secure environment.”
